Dan Witz, Ladies and Gentlemen

I felt as though I had to post this just because
he is so damn good. Dan Witz is an urban kind of street artist living out of New York. I came to know Dan through an interview I found of him on Wooster Collective. Looking further into his work I discovered his website which you can check out HERE he is almost to good at painting, it definitely worth taking a look at.

Stencils and the like.

About a month ago I got really into stencils, I loved the idea of these huge symbolic works of art being sprayed onto any type of wall or object. I would spend hours on the internet pouring over pictures of stencils that Banksy sprayed or awesome stickers that Dan Witz created. And then a couple weeks ago when I was in art class I decided to stop procrastinating and ask Ms. Stevens for a piece of cardboard. I then proceeded to make my first stencil of a bird. Next came a mountain range with a bird. I recently made a stencil of a Pope with a gun which I will upload on to here soon.

Collective Street Art

The other day I messaged my friend Clarissa about this video I had seen on her site and she replied with regret that she had forgotten the title of the video but instead gave me the name of the site which was http://www.woostercollective.com/. For those of you who haven't heard of it, it's this really cool site that posts video clips, blurbs and photo's dedicated to street art. So if you like graffiti, painting, stenciling, or just plain art I'd give it a look!

Well here it is.

I, Chad Siddall, have come to the conclusion that the cool thing to do would be to create a blog.... and well, here it is. Looking forward to posting later.
